They could only learn basic words not anything way too complicated, so as to have a more comfortable communication with greek citizens

I believe immigrants need to have a knowledge of English first, and Greek second, with lessons funded by the government.

I think they should only be required to learn the Greek language were they to establish in Greece longterm. Thsi obligation cannot under any crcumstances make their already complex situations any more difficult.
