PASOK

The Panhellenic Socialist Movement, better known by its acronym PASOK, is a significant political party in Greece that has played a pivotal role in the country's political landscape since its inception in 1974. Founded by Andreas Papandreou, PASOK emerged in the aftermath of the Greek military junta (1967-1974), positioning itself as a progressive force advocating for change and modernization in Greek society and politics.
