 @85QWNPG from Colorado answered…2yrs2Y

No, we need a universal and free healthcare like that of the UK, especially given the extreme amount we spend on our trashy infrastructure in this sector.

There should be a basic single payer system for baseline healthcare, as well as private options for those who can afford it.

 @7THPXS9 from Wisconsin answered…2yrs2Y

No, though I would support a federally supported healthcare act allowing for annual PCP visits.

 @8YP5JYJ from Florida answered…2yrs2Y

No, this act only forces people to pay for insurance they cannot afford. We should create a universal healthcare system instead.

 @8YJG6ZH from Montana answered…2yrs2Y

No insurance is pointless, this one is awful anyways. more of a formality.

Yes, but private healthcare should at the same time be an option for those who can afford high-quality care. Implement more reforms to the private healthcare system, insurance and medical costs, to allow for reasonably priced healthcare, and allow consumers to choose providers at an affordable price. It should be done mainly through non-profits.

No, I support universal healthcare coverage, but government-sponsored healthcare should be handled by state governments instead. However, there should be some form of assistance for the people under the poverty line from a federal level and then we should regulate the prices of prescription drugs to reduce costs.

 @8XT29L4 from Illinois answered…2yrs2Y

No, government should not be involved in healthcare- and open the markets so insures can compete across state lines and reduce costs (this will give the most affordable healthcare based on local economic/demographic factors.

 @8XNT9ZQ from Florida answered…2yrs2Y

No, we need a plan that reworks the entire healthcare system! It needs to be implemented gradually, too. In many countries single payer system decentivizes medical workers and innovation and does not reward those that convert to a healthier lifestyle (disease prevention). Medical workers (doctors, nurses, healthcare professionals, support workers like housekeeping) are underpaid and overworked - only a very few anymore make the 'big money'. People are leaving and retiring - burnout and suicide has increased. Very few people have no access to healthcare - indigent care clinics exist in every town and nonprofits help with routine meds. Many of my patients just don't take their meds or keep their appointments - by their own choice and they falsely use the excuse they couldn't afford it.
