Average person needs at least money for residence, food, bare necessities to live. But to live with quality, money is needed for extra education, transportation, bio food and quality entertainment. By raising taxes there's less money for people to live with quality which leads to unhappy people, unwilling to do anything and committing crimes. And also the more money that is taken by the government makes no difference
